Offensive lineman Willi Wascher commits to USC

The USC Trojans landed their first commitment from a 2025 offensive lineman on Friday as three-star prospect Willi Wascher made his announcement.
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound interior lineman picked up an offer from USC offensive line coach Josh Henson back in January as the Trojans were one of the first programs to jump into his recruitment. Center became a key position for the Trojans in this 2025 class following the recent announcement from Jason Zandamela that he will be entering the transfer portal when it opens next week. USC had to land a center of the future in this class and it looks like Wascher is it.
“I just felt like the time was right,” Wascher said of announcing his commitment. “I love the culture over there. I love how tight their O-line room is.”
Wascher was on campus for an unofficial visit the weekend of March 30 and said he was able to spend a lot of time with Offensive Graduate Assistant Grayson Reed, who walked him through the entire program. Wascher said one thing that stood out during that trip was when the offensive line position meeting was stopped when he entered so that the whole room could take a minute to welcome him.
Wascher grabbed an offer from Miami and took a visit, plus heard from several other schools. But he said the USC staff was the best at staying in constant communication.

There isn’t a previous connection to USC for Wascher and he didn’t grow up a Trojan fan. But that’s changed now.
“USC is home for me,” he said. “USC is the one place that really stands out to me. It feels like home.”
Wascher delivered news of his commitment to Henson.
“He was excited and telling me how everybody else is excited,” Wascher said. “It got me really excited to be there.”
Wascher said he doesn’t anticipate taking official visits to any other program and is likely to use his official to USC during one of the big June recruiting weekends.
