Opening Over/Unders Set for Caleb Williams, College Football's Top Quarterbacks
Opening statistical Over/Unders have been set by BetOnline.ag for Caleb Williams and college football’s other top quarterbacks heading into the 2023 season.
The Over/Under for passing yards and touchdown passes in the regular season for Williams are set at 3,600.5 yards and 34.5 passing touchdowns. Those represent more lofty expectations for Williams in just 12 regular season games. In 2022, Williams threw for 3,712 yards and 34 touchdowns through USC’s 12 regular season games.
Williams then went off in the postseason, throwing for 825 yards and eight touchdowns against Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game and Tulane in the Cotton Bowl.
If Williams does in 2023 anything close to what he did in 2022, he’ll wind up among the great USC quarterbacks when it comes to career statistics.

He’d finish No. 5 all-time in USC history in passing yards, behind only Matt Barkley, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart and Cody Kessler. And Williams would be fourth in passing touchdowns, behind Barkley, Leinart and Kessler.
None of college football’s standout quarterbacks have an Over/Under set higher than Williams’ when it comes to touchdown passes. He led the nation last season with 42 and has another group of standout receivers to throw to this season. Only Michael Penix Jr. of Washington has a higher Over/Under when it comes to passing yards. He’s set at 3,800.5 in these opening lines. Last season, Penix threw for 4,354 yards in 12 regular season games, including 10 with at least 300 yards passing, two with 400 and one with 500.
