The Big Ten Tournament bracket was released early this week after the USC Trojans locked up the No. 1 seed thanks to a road win against the UCLA Bruins this past Saturday.

The Trojans finished the regular season as the No. 2 team in the AP Poll, earning six first-place votes. USC trails only Texas in that poll and has wins over the No. 3 team (UConn) and No. 4 team (UCLA).

Head coach Lindsay Gottlieb’s program is sitting on the No. 1 seed line in the NCAA Tournament right now and could lock that up with a Big Ten Tournament title. And depending on how the Longhorns fare in the SEC Tournament, the Trojans are playing for the No. 1 overall seed. USC was a No. 1 seed and the No. 3 team overall in the NCAA Committee’s final top 16 reveal, but that was before the Trojans again took down then-No. 1 overall seed UCLA.

USC’s first game in the Big Ten Tournament will tip off at 9 am PT on Friday, March 7 against the winner of No. 8 Oregon and No. 9 Indiana. A win there would put USC into the semifinals. The Trojans played both programs on the road this year and went 2-0.

A win there could set the Trojans up against the winner of No. 4 Maryland and No. 5 Michigan, though the Wolverines would need to avoid an upset in Round 2 to get there. The Trojans took down Michigan 78-58 at Galen Center and beat a top-10 Maryland team on the road in a tough one. A win in that game would send the Trojans into the finals. On the other side of the bracket as the Nos. 2 and 3 seeds, UCLA and Ohio State. USC’s only conference loss this season is over there as well in No. 11 Iowa. The Hawkeyes have a long road to the final, though.
