Jake Jensen

Former BYU and Contra Costa QB Jake Jensen has committed to USC. He had committed to and signed with New Mexico on May 23, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity from the Trojans.

Jensen is a native of Pleasant Grove, Utah, and he joined CCC in 2021 after spending a year at BYU.  With Contra Costa in 2021, Jensen went 155-for-268 (a 57.9 completion percentage) with 22 touchdowns and just nine interceptions as the Comets went 9-1 on the season.  Jensen also added 105 yards on the ground with four touchdowns.

He had his best game in the season finale, throwing for 339 yards (one of two 300-yard games on the season) with four touchdowns and no picks in a 28-19 win over Foothill JC.  Jensen threw for at least one touchdown in nine of his 10 games.
