After pounding California and the west region with recruiting visits to start this recruiting period, USC coaches moved away from that area while continuing to pile up visits and offers. Here, we take a look at some of the latest prospects to earn USC offers and attention from the Trojans’ coaches.

New USC offers

2026 CB Khary Adams (Towson, Md./Loyola Blakefield)

USC has a big-time start to its 2026 defensive back class with four-star cornerbacks RJ Sermons and Brandon Lockhart, plus three-star versatile prospects in Joshua Holland and Madden Riordan. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Adams is a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 145 overall recruit in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. He already holds plenty of offers closer to home, including Maryland, Penn State, North Carolina and Notre Dame.

2026 RB/LB Favour Akih (Delaware, Ohio/Hayes)

The 5-foot-11, 190-pound athlete is listed as a running back by On3, but said USC defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn offered as a linebacker. Penn State is a top school for him and he also holds offer from Michigan State, Pitt, West Virginia and Indiana.

2026 DL Damaad Lewis (Bellevue, Wash./Ballantyne Ridge)

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Lewis is originally from Washington but attends school in North Carolina. USC and defensive line coach Eric Henderson are in early on this recruitment. Nevada is Lewis’ only listed offer before the Trojans extended one.

2027 S Bryce Williams (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Western)

Here’s another recruitment where the Trojans are in fairly early on a prospect across the country. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound safety holds offers from Akron, Colorado, Marshall, Western Kentucky and now USC.

USC coach visits

USC defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn was in Ohio and stopped by to check in on the nation’s No. 1 cornerback and No. 17 overall prospect Elbert Hill as well as four-star linebacker Sincere Johnson, the nation’s No. 114 overall prospect and No. 8 linebacker. Both hold Ohio State offers and both will certainly be difficult pulls all the way to Los Angeles.

USC defensive backs coach Doug Belk checked in with USC commitment Brandon Lockhart He’s an important prospect to hold onto in this class as Oregon likely will not give up easily.

Offensive line coach Zach Hanson and head coach Lincoln Riley were in Idaho to visit four-star offensive tackle Kelvin Obot. The 6-foot-5, 265-pound tackle is the nation’s No. 115 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Rankings and all the way up at No. 39 in the 2026 On3 Rankings. Obot visited USC for the Nebraska game and will clearly be a top target moving forward.

USC defensive line coach Eric Henderson was very visible as he made his way through the East Coast.

He checked in with four-star defensive linemen Kendall Guervil (Ft. Myers, Fla./Ft. Myers), James Johnson (Cape Coral, Fla./North Ft. Myers) and Aiden Harris (Weddington, NC/Weddington).

Harris is the nation’s No. 1 defensive lineman and No. 30 overall prospect. Johnson and Guervil are the nation’s Nos. 14 and 15 defensive linemen, respectively, and nation’s No. 152 and 160 overall prospects. Henderson has shown he’ll go after any lineman he likes, regardless of location or star ranking. And now he’s on the trail after landing five-star prospect Jahkeem Stewart in the 2025 class.

Henderson also stopped by Independence High School in Charlotte, home of three-star safety Nick Reddish and three-star linebacker Dallas Brannon. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Reddish holds offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and USC. The 6-foot-1, 203-pound Brannon has them from Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC.
