Social media reactions following USC's thrilling bowl victory
The USC Trojans took down the No. 16 Louisville Cardinals at Petco Park in San Diego in the DIRECTV Holiday Bowl on Wednesday night.
The game was a thriller as Miller Moss had his breakout moment. Moss set a Holiday Bowl and USC bowl game record with six passing touchdowns. The third-year quarterback, making his first start, completed 23-of-33 passes for 372 yards and those six scores, against one interception. He found Tahj Washington twice, Ja’Kobi Lane twice, Kyron Hudson once and Duce Robinson once for scores.
On top of that, the USC defense looked the best they have looked maybe all year. The speed and effort the defensive unit played with was wildly refreshing to see.
Following the game, there were tons of social media reactions flying around. Current, former, and future players as well fans and parents all joined in on the celebration online. Some left short, simple messages, while others added a bit more.
Here are some of those reactions.
