'Swaggy' Jaxson Dart takes over as starting USC quarterback

This week could mark a significant shift for the USC offense, with Jaxson Dart named the starting quarterback for the foreseeable future. The decision was an easy one for head coach Donte Williams. Kedon Slovis remains sidelined and unable to practice after suffering a lower leg injury against Arizona State. Williams said there can't be a quarterback competition when only one potential starter is available, and that he let Dart know earlier in the week that he would be the starter against UCLA.
