THE LATEST: State of USC Recruiting 28 Days from Early Signing Period

After five losses in nine games, USC finally got the point where decommitment talk heated up. It started with rumors about four-star Mobile (AL) offensive tackle Carde Smith, then running back commit Daune Morris from Nashville (TN) was added to the conversation.  Smith visited Colorado and Morris Tennessee last weekend. We’ve submitted a Tennessee flip prediction for Morris and we’re hearing Smith may be seriously wavering. Smith did say he’ll be visiting USC again this month, so we’ll see if that holds true.
