Three-star CB Alex Graham flips from Colorado to USC
The USC Trojans added three-star cornerback Alex Graham to their commitment list on National Signing Day as Lincoln Riley and defensive backs coach Doug Belk were able to get it done with a prospect who had been committed to the Colorado Buffaloes since late April.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Graham took an official visit to USC in June and the Trojans were able to stay in the picture despite the longtime commitment to Colorado. Michigan also made a late push for Graham.
Graham is the nation’s No. 458 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking, a three-star prospect for On3, ESPN and Rivals, and a four-star for 247.
He starred for the state champion Technicians this season as Cass Tech went 12-2 overall and won the Division I MHSAA state championship game against Hudsonville this past weekend. Graham picked off a pass, forced a fumble and scored a 54-yard touchdown on a reverse.

He had a huge hand in getting Cass Tech to the championship game. In the semifinals, Graham opened the game with an 87-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He then closed the game by blocking a field goal with just 30 seconds left to preserve a 17-14 win.
Graham brings positional versatility to the defensive backfield as he could play corner, safety or nickel at the next level. That’s a trait that both Belk and defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn have stressed that they want at every level of the defense. Graham is a physical tackler, has been a three-phase playmaker throughout his high school career, and could ultimately be an option as a returner as well.
Graham played his first to years of high school football at Cass Tech before transferring to IMG Academy for his junior year. He returned to Cass Tech as a senior and finished his high school career as a Michigan state champion.
