Three USC Trojans received invitations to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and they are familiar names in this post-season process.

Running back Woody Marks, offensive lineman Jonah Monheim and cornerback Jaylin Smith are three of the 329 prospects who have been invited to take place at the event in Indianapolis, which runs from February 24 through March 3.

This is the same trio of Trojans who took part in the Senior Bowl earlier this offseason.

All three performed well during that week and will now get another significant opportunity to showcase themselves for NFL teams.

Marks is coming off a 1,000-yard rushing season and will be one of the top pass-catching backs in this draft. He checked in at an impressive 215 pounds down in Mobile for the Senior Bowl. At this point it looks like Marks will be taken as a Day 3 pick, but he sure seems like the type of player who can put together a solid NFL career. He was one of 31 running backs invited to the Combine.

Monheim did a bit of everything along the line at USC, including starts at left tackle, center, right guard and right tackle. He’ll be an interior player in the NFL, but he’ll bring three-position versatility and strong leadership qualities. Several ESPN draft experts have slotted him as either the second or third-best center in the draft.

Smith put together a standout senior season for the Trojans at outside cornerback. One of the more recent mock drafts on NFL.com had Smith going at No. 99 overall to the San Francisco 49ers late in the third round. He put together a very impressive speed number down at the Senior Bowl and will have a shot to back that up with a 40-yard dash time at the Combine.

Former USC quarterback Jaxson Dart earned an invitation as well following a standout career at Ole Miss. Former USC defensive lineman Jay Toia will participate as well after four years at UCLA.
