Top 150 Linebacker AJ Tuitele Signs with USC
A few weeks after taking an official visit to USC, Top 150 linebacker AJ Tuitele committed and signed to play football for the USC Trojans.
“The coaching staff stood out to me at USC when I was on my visit,” Tuitele said. “Coach Lincoln Riley is cool and he was in to see me right before I visited UNLV too. I really like how the coaches are there for their players at USC. They made me comfortable and I have been talking a lot to coach Dogg (Aaron Amaama) since they offered.”
The schools that were on Tuitele’s list at the end included Arizona, UNLV and USC and Washington.
It’s been trending for USC since the day the Trojans offered on January 8, but the No. 146 prospect in the On300 still had a lot to think about heading into signing day today.
“It is going to be a tough decision,” Tuitele added. “I am going to keep praying on it. It is about being in that family environment. I am Polynesian and my culture is one big family. It comes down to surrounding myself with good people and a big family.”
