The USC Trojans announced today they will open the 2025 football season with a home game against Missouri State.

The Bears will visit the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on August 30, 2025. This game is a replacement for the canceled home-and-home series between USC and Ole Miss. It also means USC’s two non-conference home games next year will feature Missouri State and Georgia Southern. The Trojans will also travel to take on Notre Dame.

USC is the only program in the country to never play an FCS opponent and the Trojans will keep that streak alive, barely. Missouri State is currently in the FCS Missouri Valley Football Conference, it will join Conference USA next season, making it an FBS opponent for the Trojans.
