USC debuts in Top-25 recruiting rankings following commitment of Xavier Jordan
USC landed a commitment from one of the top wide receivers in America this morning when Los Angeles (Cal.) Sierra Canyon four-star Xavier Jordan went to Twitter to announce his pledge. Jordan’s commitment in the third for USC in the 2024 class and also marking the first top-100 ranked prospect in the class for the Trojans.
Due to lack of commitments, USC previously was not in the national rankings, but this commitment allowed USC to soar into the rankings, debuting in the top-25.
As of this morning, USC is now ranked No. 18 in the 2024 Team Recruiting Rankings. The current class is sitting at a score of 89.24.

To date, the three commitments in the 2024 class are Los Angeles (Cal.) Sierra Canyon four-star Xavier Jordan, Lake Oswego (Ore.) Lakeridge four-star tight end Joey Olsen, and McKinney (Tex.) three-star running back Bryan Jackson.
Also, as of right now, there are 20 prospects in the class of 2024 who are currently favored in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine to land with USC. A good portion of them visited USC this spring and/or are planning official visits in the summer.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
The Trojans are currently set to host 17 official visitors in the month of June, primarily scheduled for two major visit weekends. The staff will hope for similar success as last cycle when they landed 10+ of their June official visitors.
USC finished the 2023 class ranked inside the top-10 and Lincoln Riley and staff have started off on the right foot with an opportunity to repeat that feat in the 2024 class.
2024 BIG 10 Rankings
USC comes in at No. 4 in the BIG 10 rankings following the commitment of Xavier Jordan. They are behind only Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. It is important to note that while USC has only three commitments, Ohio State has 13, Michigan has 15, and Penn State has 13.
With a score of 89.24, the Trojans are trailing Penn State, who has a score of 91.62.
However, USC (90.56) does have a higher average prospect rating than both Michigan (90.46) and Penn State (89.56). Only the Buckeyes have a higher average prospect rating at 91.96.
