The exodus of former highly-ranked prospects from USC into the transfer portal continued on Tuesday as defensive end Korey Foreman officially entered his name.

Foreman was a massive recruiting win for the Trojans in the 2021 class as the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Rankings. But he battled injuries throughout his career and never really found a home in the USC defense. He played in 11 games as a true freshman in 2021 and 12 last season, but will finish his Trojans’ career with 25 tackles and 2.5 sacks in three years. Foreman played in the season’s first three games and sat out the remainder of the season to preserve a redshirt year.

He does leave a lasting legacy in the USC – UCLA rivalry as his interception late in the 2022 game stopped a potential game-winning drive by the Bruins and helped ice a 48-45 win for the Trojans.

USC Trojans in the Transfer Portal

Foreman is officially the seventeenth Trojan to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal this offseason. He went in one day after fellow former five-stars Domani Jackson and Malachi Nelson did on Monday. They were joined by former four-star linebacker Tackett Curtis.

Running back/wide receiver Raleek Brown is the only former Trojan to have made a commitment elsewhere. Brown announced Saturday that he’ll be heading to Arizona State to continue his career.

Running back Darwin Barlow, wide receiver Mario Williams and Michael Jackson III, tight end Jude Wolfe, defensive tackle De’jon Benton and offensive tackle Michael Tarquin are some of the other Trojans who have earned playing time at USC who remain in the portal at this time.
