The tentative two-deeps are out for the SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl between the USC Trojans and Texas A&M Aggies. Here’s what the list looks like for the Trojans and a few notes on the players listed and not listed.

Quarterback

Jayden Maiava
Jake Jensen

Maiava took over as the starter for the final three games of the season. Miller Moss entered the transfer portal and is headed to Louisville. Jensen is on his way to Montana but stuck around to serve as the No. 2 quarterback for the Trojans in this game.

Running back

Bryan Jackson OR A’Marion Peterson

Starter Woody Marks is off to the NFL and backup Quinten Joyner is headed to Texas Tech. USC will rely on a true freshman and redshirt freshman in this game. Both will be seeing the most action of their college careers against the Aggies.

Wide receiver

WR-X

Kyle Ford
Jaden Richardson

WR-Y

Makai Lemon
Jay Fair
Josiah Zamora

WR-Z

Ja’Kobi Lane
Xavier Jordan

Kyron Hudson, Zachariah Branch and Duce Robinson are all gone. Lane and Lemon are expected to serve as the focal points of the passing game in this one. It’ll be interesting to see if true freshman Xavier Jordan gets any run in this game after not playing all season.

Tight end

Lake McRee
Walker Lyons

The Trojans are down a bit with Kade Eldridge off to Washington via the transfer portal. But McRee and Lyons finished the season as the top two options at tight end.

Offensive line

Left tackle

Elijah Paige
Justin Tauanuu

Left guard

Emmanuel Pregnon
Micah Banuelos

Center

Kilian O’Connor
Kaylon Miller

Right guard

Alani Noa
Erwin Taomi

Right tackle

Tobias Raymond
Makai Saina

USC will start backups at center and right tackle in O’Connor and Raymond. There is virtually zero experience at any of the backup spots.

Defensive line

Defensive end

Kameryn Fountain
Braylan Shelby

Defensive tackle

Gavin Meyer
Jide Abasiri

Defensive tackle

Devan Thompkins
Nate Clifton
Kobe Pepe

Defensive end

Jamil Muhammad
Kameryn Fountain
OR Devan Thompkins

The USC defensive line is healthy and active compared to what Texas A&M is bringing in with three starters out. Sam Greene is the only player along the line who was seeing significant snaps toward the end of the year who isn’t scheduled to suit up.

Linebacker

MIKE

Easton Mascarenas-Arnold
Desman Stephens II

WILL

Mason Cobb
Anthony Beavers
Roman Marchetti
Ryan Quintanar

Fulltime starters Mascarenas-Arnold and Cobb are good to go. There’s a bit of a surprise that Eric Gentry isn’t listed considering he seemingly announced he’s play and defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn spoke about the impact he made during bowl practices.

Nickel

Prophet Brown
Marcelles Williams

Cornerback

Jacobe Covington
Braylon Conley

Safety

Akili Arnold
Bryson Shaw
Marquis Gallegos

Safety

Kamari Ramsey
Christian Pierce

Cornerback

John Humphrey
DeCarlos Nicholson

Neither cornerback Jaylin Smith nor nickel Greedy Vance Jr. are listed, meaning the Trojans will be down two starters in the secondary. USC still has three cornerbacks who have logged starts this season. Nickel will be an interesting spot to watch as to whether Brown gets a significant number of snaps or if true freshman Marcelles Williams can get onto the field.

Special teams

Kicker

Michael Lantz

Punter

Eddie Czaplicki

Long snapper

Hank Pepper

All the special teams starters are good to go for the Trojans.
