USC EDGE commit Kameryn Fountain moves into top-100 industry rankings
When Atlanta (Ga.) Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain announced his commitment to USC in June, he was just the seventh pledge of the class. His addition was celebrated as the Trojans are working to increase their talent level in the trenches and Fountain was contributing to that.
That was when Fountain was ranked just inside the top-150. Since his commitment, he has seen some steady increases up the list.
Just last week, he ranked as the No. 103 prospect. Now, after an update in the industry rankings, Fountain has moved into the top-100 ranks, being slotted at No. 95 overall. He ranks as the No. 6 edge rusher in the 2024 class.
Fountain’s new ranking gives USC four commits in the top-100 in the On3 Industry Rankings. Xavier Jordan leads the class at No. 60 followed by Ryan Pellum at No. 86 and Marcelles Williams at No. 89. Jason Zandamela is not far away as he is the No. 106 overall prospect.

On3 NIL Valuation for Fountain
Fountain has an On3 NIL Valuation of $122K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
On3 Evaluation – Scouting and Rankings Assistant Cody Bellaire
“Athletic EDGE defender with a tremendous frame and build that should sit at 250-265 pounds with ease at the college level. Has plenty of room to add substantial mass throughout his frame and love his length. Jumped a 32-inch vertical and ran a 4.59 shuttle during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Excellent footwork, balance and ability to play under control. Rarely caught off-guard or put in disadvantageous positions. Always around the football, plays with a high motor and constantly chases the football from the backside.”
“Solid hand usage, very comfortable with the arm over and chops. Needs to develop a counter move but will come with collegiate coaching. Has some slight hip stiffness but makes up for it with his foot speed. Need to see more physicality at the point of attack but has the size and traits to develop it. High upside prospect who has all the physical and athletic ability to develop into an impressive EDGE player at the collegiate level and beyond. Quality hooper on the hardwood as well. Nearly averaged a double double in points and rebounds as a junior.”
