USC falls short in season's final home game
The USC Trojans showed some real fight in the Coliseum for the first time in months on Saturday night against the BYU Cougars, turning a 15-point third-quarter deficit into a three-point lead late in the game. But in the end, the Cougars and some familiar foes -- penalties, missed tackles and settling for field goals in the red zone -- doomed USC in a 35-31 loss.
