USC football team gets Beats courtesy of Caleb Williams
USC quarterback Caleb Williams once again found a way to share the wealth when it comes to his NIL deals. Williams landed an endorsement deal with Beats by Dre a few days after publicly revealing his commitment to USC at the end of January.
On Friday, Williams gifted every member of the USC football team a pair of Beats Studio 3 wireless headphones, a pair of Beats Studio Buds and a USC t-shirt. Various players posted their “unboxing” videos to Instagram on Friday evening.
The gifts came with a note from Williams.
“Great first spring ball with y’all,” Williams wrote in the note. “Now let’s finish strong with an even better spring game. Let’s keep working. Fight on!”
Williams signed the notes from CW13.
This is at least the third USC team to which he’s given a pair of Beats headphones. Previously, he gave them to the USC women’s basketball team before they began the Pac-12 Tournament. Then, he had the same gift for the men’s basketball team prior to them leaving for the NCAA Tournament.
The gifts extended past just the players and at least into the creative department as well. USC Director of Content, Robert Washington, posted a video of the gift bag he received from Williams.

Williams Impressing This Spring
Williams has impressed everybody this spring with his play, though he did talk early in camp about some improvements he wants to make this season after a terrific true freshman year at Oklahoma.
Running back Austin Jones was one of those who spoke out about what he’s seen from Williams so far.
“Oh, Caleb, he’s an Alpha,” Jones said while appearing on a Trojans Live Radio Show earlier this spring. “I’ve been saying he’s a baller. He comes out and he makes plays from Day One. And you can just see it in him. He’s got all the intangibles and I just can’t wait to see what he does on the field.”
Bestowing these gifts to his teammates is another strong move as Williams looks to take on a leadership role as the likely starting quarterback this season. He spoke recently about understanding what is expected of him in terms of being a leader in a situation like the one USC finds itself in this season, rebounding from a disastrous 2021 season.
Williams will have his first opportunity to put on a show in front of the USC fans on Saturday. The Trojans are scheduled to kick off their spring game at noon at the Coliseum.
