The USC Trojans landed a commitment from four-star athlete Joshua Holland on Monday. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound standout from St. John Bosco is the nation’s No. 325 overall prospect and No. 30 athlete in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking.

Holland was part of a talented group of unofficial visitors who were on the USC campus this past weekend.

The commitment comes on the same day USC lost a commitment from 2026 cornerback Dominick Kelly, who flipped to Georgia. Holland will head to USC as a cornerback, but he’ll have a chance to shine playing both ways for Bosco this fall. He was an offensive standout during the Braves’ spring game, hauling in a nine-yard touchdown pass as well as a 69-yard reception.

“As long as he can stay healthy and he can absorb the mental side of the game and be able to be in the right place at the right time on both offense and defense,” head coach Jason Negro told the Press-Telegram. “I think he has the necessary skill set and the athleticism to be able to do it. He’s going to have to work on his conditioning…I think he’s more than willing to do it if we need him to do it and I think he’s willing to step up to the challenge if need be.”

Holland is the latest addition to USC’s No. 5-ranked 2026 recruiting class. That group is headlined by four-star linebacker Xavier Griffin, the No. 27 overall prospect. The rest of the group is local, with cornerback Brandon Lockhart as another big piece, checking in as the No. 36 overall recruit in his class, as well as wide receiver Ja’Myron Baker and defensive back Madden Riordan.
