The USC Trojans continue to make offseason hires to strengthen their football program. The latest is the addition of Conor McQuiston as USC’s Director of Football Analytics.

It marks the first time USC has had a full time staffer solely dedicated to analytics.

McQuiston had had stints with the Arizona Cardinals, PFF, Next Gen Stats and was most recently a data scientist for Prize Picks. He’s also published his own analytics-based substack, “The Evaluation Period.”

“Unbelievably proud to announce that starting next week I will be the Director of Football Analytics for USC!” McQuiston posted to his X account. “Excited for this opportunity to join Chad, Coach Riley, and such a phenomenal program! #FightOn”

USC General Manager Chad Bowden isn’t a stranger to making this type of move. While at Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish raided PFF this past August and hired college football analyst Anthony Treash as their Director of Analytics.
