USC Injury Report: Trojans' availability against Nebraska
The Big Ten injury report is out as the USC Trojans are set to kick off against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Here’s a look at the players listed as out and questionable and what it means for both programs.
NOTE: This is an updated story. The Big Ten published an inaccurate availability report earlier that listed all of USC’s players as “Out.”
USC Availability Report
Out
None
Questionable
S Kamari Ramsey
WR Kyron Hudson
CB Jacobe Covington
RB A’Marion Peterson
DE Braylan Shelby
We’ll see if Ramsey and Covington play in this one. Both would be huge additions to the USC secondary and Riley seemed cautiously optimistic early in the week that they could get back onto the field at some point, though he stopped well short of guaranteeing it.
Shelby is a new name to the injury report this season. The sophomore defensive end has taken more snaps than any other USC defensive lineman this season. If he can’t go or is limited, it likely means more snaps for redshirt sophomore Sam Greene and true freshman Kameryn Fountain. Though, those two have seen their snaps increase in recent weeks even with Shelby healthy.

Hudson would be a loss as a veteran receiver, but the Trojans should still be plenty deep at receiver in this one.
Nebraska Availability Report
Out
RB Rahmir Johnson
K Tristan Alvano
OL Turner Corcoran
OL Tyler Knaak
Johnson is the notable name. The running back has rushed 41 times for 180 yards and caught 19 passes for 165 yards and a score this season. But he’s the No. 3 back and not a huge loss.
Quarterback Dylan Raiola is not on the injury report at all and that goes along with head coach Matt Rhule saying earlier this week the true freshman quarterback practiced this week and would be fine to play.
