USC Injury Report: Trojans' availability vs Minnesota
The No. 11 USC Trojans (3-1, 1-1) will be slightly shorthanded against the Minnesota Golden Gophers (2-3, 0-2) this evening. Here’s a look at the Trojans listed on the Big Ten injury/availability report.
USC players out:
LB Eric Gentry
OL Micah Banuelos
TE Lake McRee
LB Raesjon Davis (season)
DT Bear Alexander (season)
Gentry was expected to be out for this game following an injury suffered against Wisconsin last weekend. We took a look ahead of the game at the linebacker options with Gentry likely sidelined. Offensive tackle Micah Banuelos has missed several games and remains out. Tight end Lake McRee continues to sit out after an injury suffered against Michigan.
Linebacker Raesjon Davis made the decision this week to utilize his redshirt year and will now miss the rest of the season. He practiced with the team this week and it’s expected he will continue to do that.
Defensive lineman Bear Alexander announced ahead of the Wisconsin game that he would redshirt the year as well, but he will not practice the rest of the season with the team.

USC players questionable:
S Akili Arnold
WR Makai Lemon
Arnold was injured late in the Michigan game and missed the Wisconsin game. The same thing happened with Lemon. Both are listed as questionable but it would be fairly surprising if neither plays in this game.
Minnesota availability report
Out
LB Maverick Baranowski
TE Pierce Walsh
RB Kaeden Johnson
Baranowki is a huge loss for the Gophers in this one. He leads Minnesota with 36 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.
Questionable
CB Justin Walley
DL Jalen Logan-Redding
Walley has missed two games already but might be Minnesota’s best cornerback. He would be another significant loss for Minnesota if he’s unavailable for this game. Logan-Redding is a significant contributor along the defensive line, with 11 tackles and three quarterback hurries.
