The pregame Big Ten Availability report ahead of the USC Trojans taking on the Michigan State Spartans is out and we have the list and key takeaways from the Trojans listed.

USC players “out” for today:

Wide receiver Zacharyus Williams
Defensive back Prophet Brown
Defensive back Alex Graham
Kicker Caden Chittenden
Running back Bryan Jackson
Cornerback Chasen Johnson

USC players “questionable” for today:

Wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane

Key takeaways from the availability report

All eyes will be on Ja’Kobi Lane pregame as the standout receiver is listed as “questionable” for this one. If he can’t go, the good news is USC is set to get Prince Strachan back tonight after he missed two games due to injury. Zacharyus Williams remains out for at least this week and next, according to Lincoln Riley. We’ll see if true freshman Tanook Hines continues his strong early-season play tonight as an outside receiver.

The defensive back injury list added Chasen Johnson this week as the cornerback will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury. USC has gotten used to playing without Brown and Graham early this year. Safety Kamari Ramsey has played nickel for most of the year with those two out and that will likely continue moving forward.

Walk-on kicker Ryon Sayeri will continue to handle kickoffs and field goals/extra points for the third game this year. He had a tough-luck field goal miss off the upright against Purdue but connected on four other attempts. He’s been terrific this season.
