The 2026 recruiting class for the USC Trojans is so impressive that it’s been difficult to single out the one biggest commitment to this point. But Thursday brought one that is a strong contender for that title as four-star offensive tackle Keenyi Pepe announced his commitment to the Trojans.

The big offensive tackle is the nation’s No. 44 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. He’s the No. 5 offensive tackle and the IMG Academy standout is the No. 5 prospect in the state of Florida. He shows great athleticism at the left tackle spot to go along with tremendous size.

This turned into a heated battle between USC and Miami down the stretch with the Trojans able to pull out a massive recruiting win. Pepe is the younger cousin of USC defensive tackle Kobe Pepe, though they refer to each other as brothers.

Pepe is the biggest name so far among a talented group of committed offensive linemen. He joins four-star guard Esun Tafa, three-star tackle Vlad Dyakonov, three-star interior lineman Kannon Smith, three star interior lineman John Fifita and unranked tackle Chase Deniz.

And the Trojans are chasing several more big-time tackles in this class, with four-star Kelvin Obot and four-star Malakai Lee right at the top of the list.
