USC makes big impression on mother of 4-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain
It is clear that USC is on a heater in recruiting right now coming out of their first big June visit weekend. So far, there have been three commitments out of the weekend being Dakoda Fields, Hayden Treter, and Jarvis Boatwright Jr.
The official visit weekends are obviously for the recruitment of the players but they are also often for the recruitment of the family. And in this weekend for USC, they certainly stood out in a big way and impressed parents.
One of the visitors of the weekend was Atlanta (Ga.) Washington four-star EDGE Kameryn Fountain and it has become very clear his mother, Kaycee Crawford, is all for the Trojans being Fountain’s potential school of choice.
Crawford went to Twitter today to recap the visit.
“The best visit with so much knowledge and information!!!! By far my favorite! I can see me now saying “FIGHT ON”, she tweeted.
She also fired off some other tweets to voice her support and love for USC.
“If Kam say today mom I don’t want to go on anymore visit…I will be fine because his future means more to me! Football will be there and leave…What will happen when it’s gone! USC has already made me comfortable enough to know that he will be ok!”
“I must say [USC] most definitely made me cry! This is way more than I expected! The welcoming is in the hotel was AMAZING! Annie, Morgan, and everyone there was simply amazing! I can’t wait to see what they have to offer is SO nice! Is this HOME?”
Fountain is the No. 146 overall prospect and No. 7 edge rusher in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 25 player in Georgia.

On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine for Fountain
The 6-foot-5.5, 240-pounder holds 25 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Tennessee currently has the lead to land a commitment from Fountain at 89.0%. However, USC may rise up the board soon.
RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
