USC makes move for 2026's No. 1 cornerback Brandon Lockhart

Prior to Saturday night's dramatic victory over Arizona, we put out a list of the visitors that would be in attendance in the Coliseum. The list was essentially a group of California's top defensive prospects in the 2025 and 2026 classes. Despite the game being an objective nightmare for most of the game for USC, the recruiting angle of the game went without a hitch, according to prospects and others around the program. Scott Schrader reported earlier today on the message boards that the game did not harm any recruiting. I can say that is certainly true for class of 2026 Los Angeles (Cal.) Loyola cornerback Brandon Lockhart.
