USC moves into top-5 On3 Industry Recruiting Rankings with pair of commitments
Tuesday evening, USC landed two more commitments in the class of 2024. West Hills (CA) Chaminade High four-star safety Marquis Gallegos and Arlington (Tex.) Martin offensive lineman Makai Saina both pledged to the Trojans.
Gallegos becomes the 11th four-star commitment in the Trojans’ 2024 class to this time while Saina becomes the 15th overall pledge.
With 15 commitments in the fold, USC is now ranked No. 5 in the 2024 Team Recruiting Rankings. The current class is sitting at a class score of 91.85. They moved up one spot from No. 6 with the pair of commitments.
USC is sitting at No. 6 in the country in average prospect rating. The Trojans have an average commit rating of 90.91.

Also, as of right now, there are more than a dozen prospects in the class of 2024 who are currently favored in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine to land with USC. A good portion of them have visited or are scheduled to officially visit this summer.
The Trojans are set to host more than 30 official visitors in the month of June, primarily scheduled for two major visit weekends. The staff will hope for similar success as last cycle when they landed 10+ of their June official visitors.
USC finished the 2023 class ranked inside the top-10 and Lincoln Riley and staff have started off on the right foot with an opportunity to repeat that feat in the 2024 class.
2024 BIG 10 Conference Rankings
USC comes in at No. 2 in the BIG 10 rankings. They remain behind only Ohio State. USC still has less commitments than both. Ohio State has 16 and Michigan has 23.
With a score of 91.85, the Trojans are trailing Ohio State, which has a score of 93.128.
USC is second in the Big 10 in average prospect rating, behind only the Buckeyes.
