USC offensive lineman Amos Talalele to enter NCAA transfer portal
The USC Trojans will lose a key depth piece along the offensive line as second-year player Amos Talalele announced Monday that he will enter the transfer portal.
“Thank you Trojan Family for the last 2 years, I’m thankful for the opportunity and the relationships I built. With that being said I will enter the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility remaining,” Talalele posted to his X account.
The 6-foot-4, 340-pound lineman signed with the Trojans as part of the 2023 recruiting class. After redshirting last season, Talalele played in six games this season, mostly at right guard. He played extensively as a reserve at right guard against Utah State and Michigan, then started there against Wisconsin. He saw his playing time cut drastically after that as Alani Noa settled into the starting spot at right guard and took a huge majority of the snaps. Talalele played a limited role against Maryland, Rutgers and Notre Dame to finish the season.

Alabama WR to transfer
Talalele is the second USC Trojan to announce his eventual entry into the NCAA transfer portal this offseason, following quarterback Miller Moss.
The big lineman might have been in position to battle for more playing time next season. USC will have holes to fill at left guard and center. Both are positions Talalele has played or practiced at for the Trojans this season.
