Converse (Texas) Judson is one of the most successful programs in the state of Texas. It’s because of talented prospects like rising senior Safety Myles Davis.

Although Davis is already in the process of identifying top schools and setting up official visits, USC got in the mix with an offer on Tuesday (4/18). Davis told WeAreSC he “Definitely” plans to visit the Trojans at some point. We’re hoping to add more details about why he plans to visit later.

The 6-foot-2, 188-pound On3 four-star has seen his recruiting stock rise over the last few months. He recently made a stop in Austin for a UT unofficial visit during the Longhorns’ second Junior Day. Then, he competed in the Texas Relays a week later.

On June 16 Davis will take an official visit to Texas. In large part because of his relationship with the Horns staff.

“It’s really good actually,” said Davis. “It started to pick up the moment I finished my Under Armour camp interviews and I got to the car. Coach (Blake) Gideon texted me and ever since then, it’s felt like Texas as a program really wants me and I wasn’t really getting that before, but it definitely amped up.”

Davis has on and off field goals he wants to achieve over the next 6-9 months.

“No. 1 for me is to improve as a player and with my team, just trying click as one,” Davis told Justin Wells from InsideTexas. “I’m also figuring out who is best for me as a school, on and off the field, and now that spring ball’s almost over, I know some schools that I’m talking to that are stopping by to see me and just see how that goes.”

Davis holds 23 offers including USC, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Washington, TCU, Michigan State, and Arizona State. After his trip to Austin, he has more on schedule.

The On300 Judson star is the No. 224 overall prospect, No. 12 safety in the 2024 cycle, and is also the No. 26 prospect in Texas, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major media companies.
