USC Offer the "Most Special" for 2026 Mater Dei Edge
Although the USC scholarship offer wasn’t the first for 2026 Mater Dei Edge Shaun Scott, it was an offer that holds much value and one he’s hoped to get.
USC DL coach Shaun Nua and DB coach Donte Williams were at the Mater Dei “College Showcase” today evaluating several of the most talented young g players in the nation. They were also checking on their top guys from the 2024 & 2025 recruiting classes.
While we already knew he earned the offer from the Trojans, Scott hit us up via Twitter DM this evening to share the news. He also shared his thoughts about the huge offer.
“This is the most special to me, because I grew up an SC fan and it’s in my backyard,” said Scott. “So, I’ve been waiting for this one for a long time….this is a big one for my family.”
Visit coming soon
At some point between now and the end of the month Scott will likely make his way to USC for his first unofficial on-campus visit. He was at the Coliseum for the April 15 USC Spring Game.
