USC offers 2025 Top-100 WR Daylan McCutcheon
In the midst of finishing out the class of 2024 and the transfer portal going wild, USC has dished out an offer in the class of 2025. Lucas (Tex.) Lovejoy wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon reported the offer Monday evening.
The 6-foot, 180-pound McCutcheon is tabbed as the No. 101 overall player for the Class of 2025, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also ranked as the No. 13 wide receiver and No. 19 prospect in the state of Texas.
On3 is slightly higher on McCutcheon than the others in the industry, rankings him as the No. 95 overall prospect in the class.
In his junior season in 2023, McCutcheon was incredibly productive. The junior wideout reeled in 68 receptions for 1,123 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. He also one rushing touchdown and two kickoff returns for touchdowns.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Oklahoma has the early lead to land a commitment from McCutcheon at 18.7%. Miami is a close second at 16.4%, while SMU fits it in third at 9.5%.
RPM was released to the public in December 2021. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
