USC offers Oregon State WR Silas Bolden
USC has extended a new offer to a transfer portal prospect, this one being Oregon State wide receiver Silas Bolden. Bolden entered the portal just today, January 2, one day after announcing his plans to do.
Bolden was a second-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2022 as a return specialist.
He’s been a productive player across multiple seasons, though he has really emerged in the past two years. Bolden has accounted for 77 catches for 1,048 yards and nine touchdowns, while also rushing 21 times for 202 yards and four touchdowns.
Bolden has also been effective as a kick returner and a punt returner, scoring once on a punt return in 2023.
In the short time he has been in the portal, Bolden has reported offers from USC, Arizona, and California. I would expect a number of schools to pursue.
Bolden was a three-star recruit out of Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) High School. He was the No. 1250 overall prospect in the 2020 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also the No. 207 wide receiver in his class and the No. 102 player from California.
