USC point guard Isaiah Collier to enter the 2024 NBA Draft
The offseason roster shuffling for the USC Trojans continued on Wednesday as standout point guard Isaiah Collier will enter the 2024 NBA Draft, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Collier was always viewed as a one-and-one prospect since arriving at USC as the nation’s No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 On3 Industry Ranking. He battled a hand injury that kept him out for a significant stretch of the season, but still finished second on the team with 16.3 points per game and led the Trojans with 4.3 assists per game.
Collier shot 49% from the floor — the best of all USC guards — but struggled a bit from deep and significantly from the line. He hit just 33.8% of his threes and just 67.6% of his free throws.

Collier is likely to be selected in the lottery of the upcoming draft. The most recent ESPN mock draft had him going No. 10 to the Chicago Bulls.
USC basketball is undergoing significant changes this offseason. Former head coach Andy Enfield left for SMU and the Trojans brought in former Arkansas coach Eric Musselman. He’ll be charged with completely reloading the USC roster. With Collier headed to the NBA, USC has just three players on its projected 2024-25 roster in returners Harrison Hornery and Brandon Gardner, plus UMass transfer commit Josh Cohen. Boogie Ellis and Joshua Morgan exhausted their eligibility. Bronny James, Vince Iwuchukwu, Arrinten Page, Oziyah Sellers and Kijani Wright are all in the transfer portal, and Kobe Johnson entered the portal and has since committed to UCLA. All three of USC’s 2024 signees have requested a release from their National Letters of Intent to explore other options.
