USC hosted a fairly large number of 2025 and 2026 prospects from coast to coast during the Spring, but the main focus prior to the June 24 recruiting dead period was on the 2025 official visitors.

There were 40+ official visitors last month, but probably 20+ class of 2026 visitors as well. A several of them are back on campus today with a couple of USC commits. It’s fairly small list, but there are a couple pop key targets enjoying the day with the Lincoln Riley and staff.

We’ve published articles on the visits of two headliner prospects from Georgia. In fact, one is currently committed to the Bulldogs in Buford (GA) LB Jadon Perlotte. The other is one of their top targets for 2026 in future five-star Edge Xavier Griffin.

Call me crazy, but USC could ultimately gain commitments from both Georgia players at some point. The interest level is very high right now. Perlotte told WeAreSC he’ll be back for a USC official visit during the football season.

It’s also a great sign for USC fans that local four-star linebacker Madden Faraimo is back on campus for the first time since the Spring. He’s a very high priority and don’t be surprised if he leaves USC with an official date in mind. Faraimo has said he doesn’t need to take a USC official visit, but the staff will surely push for him to take one.

Four-star 2025 Edge commit Hayden Lowe is also on campus today. He took an official visit to USC last month and announced his verbal commitment shortly after. Lowe was a huge pickup for the Trojans and it’s great sign he’s on campus today.

Massive Santa Margarita offensive lineman Elijah Vaikona is also back at USC for an unofficial visit. He attended a camp last month and earned his scholarship the old-fashioned way. He took his USC official visit on June 21 and announced his commitment to the Trojans after his final official visit to Washington.

USC commits on campus today from the No. 3 ranked 2026 class are cornerback Madden Riordan and wide receiver Ja’Myron Baker. They are joined by four-star ATH Joshua Holland from St. John Bosco, four-star offensive lineman Samuelu Utu from Orange Lutheran and four-star tight end Caleb Tafua from Lakewood.

Elite Oaks Christian cornerback Davon Benjamin is also visiting today. He also worked out with USC defensive backs coach Doug Belk last month. Two visits in less than a month is significant.

Not a big group of guys, but several key targets are on campus. That’s certainly a great sign as we approach the start of Fall camp on August 2.
