USC safety Caleb Bullock declares for 2024 NFL Draft
USC safety Calen Bullock declared his intention to enter the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday, ending a three-year career with the Trojans.
Bullock announced via a social media post. In it, he began by thanking his mother and grandmother, who he called the two most important women in his life. Bullock also thanked his teammates, coaches and fans.
“With that being said I will be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft,” Bullock wrote.
Bullock was an impact player all three years at USC, joining the Trojans as a four-star early enrollee out of Pasadena (Calif.) Muir High School in the 2021 recruiting class. He played in all 12 games and started six as a true freshman. He became the first USC safety to start a season opener since Su’a Cravens in 2013.
Bullock finished that season with 39 tackles, two interceptions and was named to multiple Freshman All-America teams.

He earned PFF and USC All-America honors as a sophomore in 2022, finishing with 48 tackles and five interceptions. Bullock played more defensive snaps than any other Trojan this season, finishing with 63 tackles and two interceptions.
Bullock is the second USC safety in two days to announce he won’t be back with the Trojans next season. Veteran Max Williams said Friday that the Holiday Bowl will be his last game with the Trojans.
He joins a growing list of Trojans leaving with a year of eligibility remaining. Quarterback Caleb Williams has not officially announced his intentions, but he is virtually guaranteed to leave for the NFL. Wide receivers Brenden Rice and Tahj Washington are both headed to the NFL Draft, as is running back MarShawn Lloyd. Of that group or early departures, only Washington will play in the bowl game.
