As soon as the transfer "recruiting dead period" ended on January 2, USC hosted several official visitors. Among that initial group of visitors was defensive back Keionte Scott from Auburn, offensive lineman DJ Wingfield from Purdue, running back Waymond Jordan Jr. from Hutchinson CC, quarterback Emmett Brown from San Jose State, edge Jimmori Robinson from UTSA, quarterback Sam Huard from Utah, linebacker Jordan Bass from Pitt and defensive back Jordan Shaw from Washington. Those visits resulted in commitments from Wingfield, Huard and Jordan Jr thus far, with USC feeling the visits went very well with Scott and Robinson.
