USC signee Trent Perry named McDonald's All-American

USC signee Trent Perry was named a 2024 McDonald’s All-American on Tuesday. The 6-foot-4, 175-pound point guard was the big name in the Trojans’ 2024 early signing class.
Perry is the nation’s No. 33 overall prospect and No. 2 point guard in the 2024 On3 Rankings.
His On3 Scouting Report reads: “Trent Perry has a smooth feel for the game. He plays with a mental toughness, with good positional size, and a well-rounded skill set. He is a smooth shooter with range off the bounce and off the catch. He has a repeatable load with a consistent release at each level. He is also a capable ball handler. He can get a team into sets and handle the pressure of point of attack defense. He is an average athlete that lacks top-end burst, which could pose some questions. High IQ player, he understands footwork and angles on both ends of the floor. A very steady performer, no matter the situation.”
