The USC Trojans will host yet another Friday night game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum this coming season.

USC’s home game against the Northwestern Wildcats is now set for Friday, November 7. The game will kick off at 6 pm PT. The move was announced by FOX College Football as part of the FOX College Football Friday lineup.

The game against the Wildcats will see USC turning around on a short week following a road trip to Nebraska. That visit to the Cornhuskers will be coming off a bye for the Trojans. The Friday game will allow USC an extra day to prepare for a visit from the Iowa Hawkeyes on Nov. 15. That game, which will be homecoming for the Trojans, will kick at either 12 or 12:30 pm PT.

USC hosted Rutgers last season in a game that kicked off at 8 pm PT. There was plenty of talk about an East Coast team needing to play a Friday night game that kicked off at 11 pm back home for them.

Northwestern is expected to be one of the worst teams in the Big Ten this season. Early FanDuel win projections have the Wildcats tied with Purdue at the bottom of the conference with just 3.5 wins.

USC hosted Colorado in 2022 on a Friday night 6:30 pm PT kick and played two regular season games on Friday night during the 2019 season — one at home against Utah and one on the road at Colorado.
