Caleb Williams has been a USC Trojan for less than one calendar year, but the impact he’s made on the program and will continue to make going forward is immeasurable.

As he sits just a few hours from likely winning the Heisman Trophy and adding another storied chapter to his growing legacy, he had an opportunity in an interview with Yogi Roth of the Pac-12 Networks to watch a video of family, friends and some USC football legends who shared their thoughts, congratulations and well-wishes with him ahead of tonight’s ceremony.

It was clearly a special moment for Williams, who spoke this week about his dream of winning the Heisman Trophy.

It’s been a phenomenal 2022 season for Williams and the Trojans. The programs bounced back from a disappointing 4-8 record in 2021 to and 11-2 mark in 2022, complete with an invitation to a New Year’s Six bowl game.

Williams is one of four finalists in New York for the presentation. The Heisman Trophy presentation will air on ESPN at 5 pm PT.

The four finalists are all quarterbacks. Williams is joined in New York by C.J. Stroud of Ohio State, Max Duggan of TCU and Stetson Bennett of Georgia. Stroud went into the season as one of the two Heisman favorites alongside Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. Williams was constantly in the mix, but didn’t take center state until late-season wins against UCLA and Notre Dame. Williams now heads into Saturday night as the overwhelming favorite to win the Heisman Trophy.
