The USC Trojans open their 2025 college football season today and if you weren’t already pumped enough, the Trojans’ social media team turned things up a notch with their release of a “War Time” hype video.

USC is set to open its season this afternoon with a 4:30 pm kickoff against the Missouri State Bears. Trojan fans will likely get to experience this video throughout the year, played on the video board during pregame festivities.

The video opens with USC’s expected offensive stars in wide receivers Ja’Kobi Lane and Makai Lemon, as well as quarterback Jayden Maiava. Middle linebacker Desman Stephens, offensive tackle Elijah Paige and defensive end Kameryn Fountain make early appearances. And there’s a quick shot of true freshman defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart wearing the Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel Universe. Stewart’s nickname is Thanos, the villain synonymous with the item.

Linebacker Eric Gentry, safety Kamari Ramsey defensive linemen Braylan Shelby and Jide Abasiri, and offensive lineman Alani Noa are also featured.

This follows up USC’s “Arrival of the Trojan” pregame hype video from the 2024 season that earned national buzz when it was released and resulted in a Los Angeles area Emmy in the Short Promo – Sports category.
