USC Trojans, South Carolina schedule 'The Real SC' series for 2025, 2026
Women’s college basketball powers are never scared to set early regular season heavyweight matchups and fans have another one to look forward to over the next two seasons. The USC Trojans and South Carolina Gamecocks have established “The Real SC” series hosted by Complete Sports Management.
South Carolina women’s basketball has become a national power under head coach Dawn Staley as the Gamecocks look like they’ll be the overall No. 1 seed as they hunt down their fourth NCAA championship since 2017. USC has become a regular in the top 5 of the national standings over the past two seasons with star JuJu Watkins and head coach Lindsay Gottlieb.
“We are excited to participate in this high-quality, highly-anticipated event,” USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said in a statement. “We have so much respect for South Carolina and Coach Staley’s program, and in growing our own program, have looked to meet the moment by taking on the best possible challenges. To be able to battle for ‘The Real SC’ right here at Crypto Arena in LA is truly a special opportunity.”

The first game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025 at Crypto Arena in Los Angeles. It will air live on FOX. The second game will be the following year, Nov. 15, 2026, held at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. That isn’t the home arena for South Carolina but did serve as a regional host in the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.
That puts three massive non-conference games on the schedule for USC as the Trojans had already set a home and home with UConn to play in 2024 and 2025. The Trojans beat the Huskies this season in a game played in Hartford. UConn is set to visit Galen Center to take on USC sometime in 2025. USC also lined up a home-and-home with Notre Dame for this year and next. The Irish beat the Trojans at Galen Center this year and the teams will play in South Bend next season.
