– LSU head coach Brian Kelly is 20-7 through two seasons with the Tigers. USC head coach Lincoln Riley is 19-8 through two seasons with the Trojans.

Details out on UNC deal
– This will be just USC’s 8th game all-time in a domed stadium. The Trojans haven’t won indoors since 1996 and have lost their last four (Alabama, Ohio State, Tulane, Utah).
– Both teams will be wearing their home jerseys for this game. LSU in its home whites and USC in its home cardinal.
– USC is 33-16-2 against the SEC all-time, but hasn’t played a team from that conference since a forgettable 52-6 drubbing against Alabama to open the 2016 season.
– There are plenty of similarities between both quarterbacks. Miller Moss and Garrett Nussmeier were both members of the 2021 recruiting class who stuck around when transfers came in and grabbed the starting spot. And they both earned their first start in the most recent bowl game while stepping in for Heisman Trophy-winning quarterbacks. Nussmeier is far more experienced, having thrown 219 passes while playing in 18 games. But Moss is coming off a six-touchdown performance in a convincing Holiday Bowl win against a ranked Louisville team.
