Team notes
* Washington has four games this season with more than 500 total yards. The Huskies have won 24 straight games in which they’ve had more than 500 yards of total offense. USC has allowed at least 500 yards in three of their past five games and have given up at least 475 yards to each of their past four Pac-12 opponents.
* Washington has committed at least one turnover in seven straight games. The Huskies had four turnovers against both Arizona State and Cal. USC is 10-0 under Lincoln Riley when recording multiple takeaways in a game.
* In both of Washington’s losses last season, the Huskies allowed at least 40 points.
* Washington have given up a ton of passing yards this season, but they have been pretty good at limiting big plays through the air. Opponents have just 99 plays of at least 10 yards against the Huskies (the Trojans have allowed 130). And while Washington ranks No. 119 in passing yards allowed per game, opposing quarterbacks have attempted 339 passes against the Huskies. That’s by far the most in college football this season and 40 more than USC has had to defend in one more game played. The 6.2 passing yards per attempt given up by Washington is tied for No. 20 nationally this year. And the nine interceptions for the Huskies are tied for No. 27. So yards have been there, but they’ve been earned methodically.
* Washington is third nationally in plays of 20 or more yards, with 56. USC is ahead of them with 63, which is No. 2 overall.
* MarShawn Lloyd has rushed for a touchdown in five consecutive games.
* Washington has five games this season in which at least two wide receivers have recorded at least 100 receiving yards. The Huskies had eight such games in their history heading into this season.
* USC is 2-5 against ranked teams under Lincoln Riley. The Trojans are 16-0 against unranked teams the past two years. USC is 0-2 against ranked teams this season.
