USC fans looking to support the Trojans’ two newest five-star signees will only need to make one purchase this fall.
Quarterback Husan Longstreet, the nation’s No. 12 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Ranking enrolled at USC early and was already on campus in time to travel to Las Vegas for the Trojans’ bowl game win against Texas A&M. He didn’t completely suit up for that game but he was with the Trojans on the field in a No. 4 jersey.
Longstreet wore No. 4 in high school and wore it at the recent Polynesian Bowl as well. He just happened to finish this recruiting cycle as the No. 4 quarterback in the On3 Industry Ranking.
That number is available now that running back Woody Marks is headed to the NFL. He wore that number in his one season at USC while rushing for 1,133 yards and nine touchdowns and catching 47 passes for another 321 yards.

Now it looks like Longstreet won’t be the only newcomer wearing the No. 4 jersey. Defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart will also be wearing No. 4 when he takes the field with the Trojans. Stewart finished just outside of five-star range in the On3 Industry Ranking but both ESPN and Rivals ranked him as a five-star prospect.
That number was worn by linebacker Easton Mascarenas-Arnold in his one season at USC.
There is a Louisiana connection for Stewart and the No. 4 jersey as it was worn by the late Joe McKnight when he was a standout running back for the Trojans.
There are plenty of expectations for Stewart to have a strong career along the defensive line for the Trojans and the hope is that it starts as a true freshman this fall. He played just 12 varsity games in high school after missing his junior year due to transfer and skipping his senior season after reclassifying. But the USC coaches saw enough in that limited action to make him a priority target in this class. USC won a high-profile recruiting battle to sign him and he’s already on campus as an early enrollee.
