By May, the list of Edge prospects USC was seriously targeting was slashed to four. Mayo, Harvey, Fountain and Newby were the only players Coach Manning continued to pursue vigorously by late Spring 2023. Mayo committed to Clemson, but Manning stopped by his school Good Counsel on Friday.
