WATCH: USC commit Julian Lewis shines during Elite 11 Pro Day drill
USC quarterback commit Julian Lewis won the Pro Day drill at this year’s Elite 11 finals, putting together an impressive performance through 20 throws.
The Pro Day drill challenges the quarterbacks with a number of different throws to all parts of the field and varying depth, requiring plenty of touch and anticipation. On3’s Charles Power recorded Lewis with 16 on-target passes out of his 20 attempts. Only Texas A&M quarterback commit Husan Longstreet, with 17, was on target with more, according to Power. But the Elite 11 judges gave Lewis the overall nod with 50 points compared to 48 for Longstreet.
