Today, we take a look at Purdue defensive end transfer Jack Sullivan committing to USC, the Trojan Women’s Basketball team blowing a big lead against UCLA, and the national championship game taking on Los Angeles.

Jack Sullivan Commits

On Sunday, USC picked up a commitment from Purdue defensive end transfer Jack Sullivan.

Over the past four seasons with the Boilermakers, Sullivan recorded 86 tackles, 9.5 sacks, seven passes defended, and a forced fumble. He comes to USC with one season of eligibility remaining.

Women’s Basketball Falls

Yesterday afternoon, USC Women’s Basketball suffered a heartbreaking 61-60 loss to crosstown rival UCLA.

The Trojans led the Bruins 52-40 at the end of the third quarter. However, UCLA outscored USC 21-8 over the game’s final ten minutes to pull off the stunning comeback.

Championship Takes LA

Today is the final college football game of the season: the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. This year, the game will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, less than 20 miles from USC’s campus.

Kickoff between TCU and Georgia is set for 4:30 PM PST. Notably, the Horned Frogs’ offensive coordinator is Garrett Riley, the younger brother of USC head coach Lincoln Riley.
