WeAreSC On3 12/26/22: Nomura Enters Portal, Slovis to BYU, and Caleb Takes in the Rams
WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at Tuasivi Nomura entering the Transfer Portal, former USC quarterback Kedon Slovis committing to BYU, and Caleb Williams taking in the Rams game on Christmas Day.
Nomura Enters Portal
On Sunday, USC linebacker Tuasivi Nomura entered the NCAA Transfer Portal.
A former three-star recruit in the class of 2019, Nomura racked up 31 tackles over the past three seasons with the Trojans. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his new school.
Slovis to BYU
Former USC quarterback Kedon Slovis has a new home. After spending the 2022 season at Pitt, the former three-year starter for the Trojans committed to play his final season of college football at BYU.
Slovis’s second college start actually came against the Cougars in Provo in September of 2019. In a 2021 podcast interview, the quarterback certainly had some interesting things to say about BYU fans.

Yesterday afternoon, the Los Angeles Rams hosted the Denver Broncos in a Christmas Day NFL matchup at SoFi Stadium. USC quarterback Caleb Williams was in attendance for the game.
