WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at details being released on USC’s 2024 matchup with LSU, former USC wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster signing with the New England Patriots, and Snoop Dogg putting out his March Madness bracket.
LSU Game Details
Yesterday, more details were announced about USC’s 2024 season-opening matchup with LSU in Las Vegas. The game will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Kickoff will be at 4:30 PM PDT on ABC.
The matchup will also be the Trojans’ first contest as a member of the Big Ten conference. USC is currently gearing up for its final season in the Pac-12 in 2023.
Juju to the Pats
After winning a Super Bowl in his lone season with the Kansas City Chiefs, former USC wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster is on the move again. Yesterday, he signed a three-year contract with the New England Patriots.
As a New England native and lifelong Patriots fan, I am extremely excited by this signing. I may even have to buy a Smith-Schuster Patriots jersey at some point.

Snoop Dogg’s Bracket
With the 2023 NCAA Basketball Tournament officially tipping off today, legendary rapper and noted USC Football fan Snoop Dogg recently revealed his bracket for the tournament.
The good news for USC fans: Snoop has the Trojans making it to the Elite 8 for the second time in the past three years.
The bad news for USC fans: He also has crosstown rival UCLA winning the national championship.
So here is a question for you all to ponder: would you take USC making it to the Elite 8 if it also meant UCLA winning the entire thing?
For me, it’s a hard no, but I’m interested to see what other people think.
