WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at USC’s Pro Day yesterday, the Dallas Cowboys signing two Trojans, and USC Baseball alum Lars Nootbar winning the World Baseball Classic with Team Japan.
Pro Day
Yesterday morning, USC held its Pro Day. 15 Trojans participated in workouts, with all 32 NFL teams in attendance.

Cowboys Sign Trojans
On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys hosted former USC offensive lineman Chuma Edoga and former USC running back Ronald Jones II on visits. On Tuesday, Dallas officially signed both players.

After starting his career with the New York Jets, Edoga spent last season with the Atlanta Falcons. Jones II, meanwhile, won Super Bowl LVII last year with the Kansas City Chiefs after playing his first four NFL seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Nootbar Wins WBC
Yesterday evening, Team Japan defeated Team USA in the championship game of the World Baseball Classic. And with it, former USC Baseball player Lars Nootbar officially became a WBC champion.
Nootbar played at USC from 2016 through 2018. He is currently a member of the St. Louis Cardinals.
